Sanofi SA (ADR) (SNY) wishes to divest its portfolio of old drugs whose patents have expired or are due to expire. As per a document circulated by the CGT labor union, the Paris-based pharmaceutical company plans to divest 200 mature products from its portfolio, which is valued at $8.5 billion (6.3 billion euros), with estimated sales of $2.83 billion in the European Union in 2014.
